Sometimes it requires to hide or remove some pages or posts from google search results. Follow the below easy steps to do it successfully.
- Go to the link
https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/url-removal - Choose a verified property or add your property (domain) if not added.
- Search your property in Google. For example, site:bdtopten.com
- Copy the site link you want to remove from google search results
- Go to webmaster tools. For example, https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/url-removal?siteUrl=https://bdtopten.com
- Click on the button “Temporarily hide” button and paste the copied URL of your site that you’d like to hide or remove (case-sensitive) for 90 days.
- To delete the url permanently from search engine, you may delete the page or post or you have to do followings
- Change title
- Change slug
- Make the page or post “noindex”, “nofollow
It may take few hours to execute the removal by google.
