Post Type Switcher

  • How to Convert or Change Custom Post Types in WordPress
  • How to convert a page to a post in WordPress?
  • How to convert a post to a page in WordPress?

WordPress has a variety of post types to manage content of website. These include posts, pages, portfolio, faq and many more. Sometimes it requires to change or switch post type.

Using a simple plugin the purpose can be successfully completed.
Plugin url: https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-type-switcher/

Install and activate, “Post Type Switcher.”

  • You will find post type converter located on the right side of the WordPress editor under the “Publish” section.
  • Click the “Edit” link next to Post Type and use the drop down box to change the post type.

Press OK and then click “Update” to publish it.
That’s all!

How to change default sender name and email

After changing the email address and sender name, add the following code in the functions.php file of your active theme.

How to change default sender name and email using a Plugin

By default, WordPress uses “WordPress” as the name of sender for all outgoing wordpress notification. Changing the default sender name and email using a Plugin is very easy.

  1. First install and activate the plugin WP Mail SMTP by WPForms 
  2. After activation, go to WP Mail SMTP options under “Settings”
  3. Specify the name and email address
  4. You can also test your setting under “Email Test”.

How to install wordpress theme

  1. Login to wordpress dashboard
  2. Go to Appearance >> Theme > Add New
  3. You will see an file upload option
  4. Browse your file and upload your theme (the theme must be zipped before upload)
  5. Click on upload
