Secure your BREVO account
- Update your password (https://app.brevo.com/account/profile/#password_form)
- Delete your existing API keys (https://account.breov.com/advanced/api) and create new ones.
- Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) (https://app.brevo.com/account/security/two-factor-authentication/) to add a layer of security to your account.
- Check your trusted devices (https://app.brevo.com/account/security/devices/) to make sure you know them all, and remove any trusted device you may have a doubt about. Removing a trusted device will automatically end any open sessions on that device.
- Investigate the incident internally to understand how it happened and what you can do to prevent it from happening again in the future.
- Check that your API keys and script have NOT been published on the public mode on “git” platforms.
- Check that malware has not been installed on any computer (anti-virus analysis).
- If you have connected the SMTP with a mail client like Thunderbird or Outlook, please start an anti-virus analysis.
