Remove URLs from google search results using WebMaster tools

Sometimes it requires to hide or remove some pages or posts from google search results. Follow the below easy steps to do it successfully.

1. Go to the link
   https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/url-removal
2. Choose a verified property or add your property (domain) if not added.
3. Search your property in Google. For  example, site:bdtopten.com
4. Copy the site link you want to remove from google search results
5. Go to webmaster tools. For example, https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/url-removal?siteUrl=https://bdtopten.com
6. Click on the button “Temporarily hide” button and paste the copied URL of your site that you’d like to hide or remove (case-sensitive) for 90 days.
7. To delete the url permanently from search engine, you may delete the page or post or you have to do followings
   1. Change title
   2. Change slug
   3. Make the page or post “noindex”, “nofollow

It may take few hours to execute the removal by google.
