How to change Blesta administrator password in database?

Step One:

Enable legacy in the Blesta config file:
/config/blesta.php

Configure::set("Blesta.auth_legacy_passwords", false); set it as true.

Step Two:

Then open to blesta database. Go to “user” table and click on “edit” of the user.

Step Three:

Set the Password field as function MD5, and put your desired password.

Step Four:

All done! Now login with username and new password.

Sometimes it becomes urgent to shutdown pc or laptop. We can follow following methods to speed up and to get faster shutdown.

Open Registry Editor to add and modify some value.
1. Launch the Run window pressing Windows and R keys
2. Type regedit and hit Enter to open Registry Editor.
Reduce Timeout to Kill Service or App
1. Reduce timeout of WaitToKillServiceTimeout key at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control.
  1. Go to this key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control.
  2. Right-click on the WaitToKillServiceTimeout key and modify its value from 5000 to 2000 (means 2 seconds).
2. Add two String Value at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
  1. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop.
  2. Then from top Edit menu choose New > String Value to create “REG_SZ” values.
  3. Name it as HungAppTimeout and give it a value of 2000.
  4. After that create another “REG_SZ” values from top Edit menu choosing New > String Value and
  5. Name it as WaitToKillAppTimeOut and set its value data to 2000.
Turn off or disable Clear Page File at Shutdown
1. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management.
2. Right-click on ClearPageFileAtShutdown and modify the value to 0.
Exit Windows Registry Editor and restart your computer to execute these operations.
